Minutes from the 2nd SOB committee meeting on 28-5-2010 1) Public liability insurance for the club is being looked into covering personal injury, property damage and to protect indavidual members from liability. The vice presidant is obtaining prices to be conisdered at the next meeting. 2) The committee voted in a new treasurer, gratz to Lisa Stratfold. 3) A joint bank account will be created for club expenditures. 4) Web page efficiency will be reviewd over the next 12 month contract with our domain server. 5) Government funding for clubs with a focus on community events is being thought about and some information about the criteria required is being obtained for the next meeting. 6) Another 10 x club T's have been ordered and should be available early June, the club is also considering long sleeve T's, Beanie's and Cap's when the club is fiscally able to purchase them. 7) Our annual awards night will be held on 18th September at (venue to be announced) & while attendance is not mandatory falure to attend may bring the wrath of the committee down apon thee like a bolt of thunder from the heavens!!!..... 8) The club is looking into a self inking stamp. (yes this is how we spend our Friday nights, thrilling huh?  ) 9) The club will offer certificates of appreciation to indaviduals/business's the committee feel have earnt it. 10) The club is gathering information about copyrights on our logo. 11) Use of the club logo for club members personal ventures will be reviewed on a case to case basis by the committee. 12) As a general rule the club does not accept cash donations although certain cases may be reviewed by the committee to judge the validity of the offer. 13) Any club members are permitted to donate items that have a tangable benefit to the club. 14) Donations can be made anonymously.
